About Alex

A love of gardens, plants and good design

I’m Alex, the owner of Limelight Landscape Design & Garden Maintenance, based in Highett and servicing Melbourne’s Bayside suburbs.

I’ve always had a passion for plants, gardens and creating outdoor spaces that feel good to be in. My approach combines practical gardening experience with landscape design and a strong knowledge of plants.

Whether your garden needs regular maintenance, a good clean-up, fresh planting or a complete redesign, I enjoy finding the right solution for each space.
I can help with everything from lawns, pruning and weeding to planting, garden advice and designing courtyards, front gardens, backyards and larger outdoor spaces.

My work was recognised at the 2019 Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show, where I received the People’s Choice Award and was awarded second place by the judges.

I believe a great garden should be beautiful, practical and suited to the people who use it.
